Dr. Oscar Ivan Baron Estrada is a medical doctor and plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon from the National University of Colombia, with extensive experience in facial and body surgery. With high quality standards in the management of all types of surgical and non-surgical procedures. He is a member of the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeon. He has several national and international publications including papers such as Keystone Flap Overcoming Paradigms published in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Global Open, the Journal with the highest impact factor in plastic surgery. In 2015 he was awarded with the Arcadio Forero prize of the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery, for the work: «Perforator flaps in children».

Dr. Baron completed a clinical fellowship in Istanbul, Turkey assisting Dr. Sureyya Seneldir, a world-renowned rhinoplasty surgeon and one of the best in structural rhinoplasty. During this period, he learned the use of instruments developed by Dr. Seneldir known as Magic Saw, which allow performing osteotomies (fractures in the nasal bones) that generate less bruising and less postoperative pain. During his nose surgeries, he also incorporates piezoelectric bone surgery, which is a process that uses piezoelectric vibrations in the application of bone tissue cutting, thus reducing soft tissue damage.
